i’ve learned a lot about etymology on this site, like that “blush” is a contraction of “blood rush” and “shucks” is a combination of “shit” and “fuck” with a random “s” at the end. okay let me try

“ferrari” is from the latin “vereri” meaning “revere” which is because you’re supposed to respect and worship their cars

that sounds about right

Uhh everyone on my street has american themed something in their front yard and if it’s not american it’s confederate themed. Americans are too damn proud of nothing I swear to god

Nah there are American flags everywhere (I live in va/nc aka south) there are even flags on stoplights

the STOPLIGHts oh my god

okay so it definitely depends where in america you are, it’s a big country so that makes sense

the only time i ever see the american flag things is on 4th of july some guy in my neighborhood goes and puts small ones in everyone’s yard but then every one usually takes them down like the next day lol

???? maybe it’s a west coast american thing? i’ve only ever been down the west coast but like every second house has a big american flag outside it

shouldn’t you be bagging some milk or something?

i have never seen bagged milk in my life and i don’t drink milk, shouldn’t you be either at a baseball game or putting more american flags outside your house though?

god i love that americans don’t officially use the metric system but do officially spell litre “liter” and metre “meter.” like “ok, fine, we’ll use the measurements the rest of the world uses sometimes and acknowledge that these units are things, but we’ll do it the american way”

whenever adults tell me they “had a vegetarian phase” i feel like i’m being condescended and i think like “look i KNOW a lot of people go vegetarian in their teens and i KNOw it might not last all my life i’m awaaaare” but then i realize they’re probably not implying that i’m young and naive and will grow out of it. maybe they are but i’m prolly just way too sensitive

cute people with cute cats :3

i had a really nice busy day yesterday and i’m having a nice not-busy day today :0) i woke up and had french toast and talked to cute partner and my parents were out all morning so i got a bubble bath ready for odelle and made her hot chocolate when she got out and she keeps saying i’m the best sister ever and then i had a bath too and i smell nicer than anyone should be allowed to. and i made that cute blue-and-white checkered bow. and had a smoothie and cut up a lot of fruit for future smoothies. that’s been my day uwu
